Tarantino Trunk Shots: A Retrospective

Inglorious Basterds seems to have marked an end of an era for Tarantino. Unless my eyes and memory deceive me, there wasn’t a single trunk shot in Basterds. Yes, plenty of extreme low angle shots such as the ones where Lt. Aldo Raine is carving swastikas in foreheads. But no genuine trunk shots. Therefore, let’s take a moment and appreciate the legacy via this montage of screen shots.
